The goal of this document is to outline the steps necessary to implement Nuance’s PowerMic II and III USB Dictation Microphone into a Citrix double-hop scenario with an IGEL OS endpoint.
The instructions provided in this document were created for and validated from an environment consisting of the following listed devices and software versions:
Nuance PowerMic II and PowerMic III
IGEL OS 10.04.100.01
Windows 2016 Server OS with Citrix VDA 7.15 LTSR CU2 (Published Desktop)
Receiver 4.9 LTSR CU3 (installed on the PD)
Nuance Citrix Client Audio Extension version 29.2.40.0 (installed on the PD)
Nuance PowerMic Citrix Client Extension version 4.6.14.6 (installed on the PD)
Windows 2008 R2 Server OS with Citrix XenApp 6.5 (Published App / hosted by Cerner)
Dragon Medical Online version 3.5
It is very likely that the steps and associated configuration detailed in this document will apply to later versions of the components listed.
