In our IGEL Community there was following challenge:
I was faced with a situation where I was unable to effect a reboot via UMS or any facility therein, and was unable to otherwise access the device physically, via ssh, or shadow.
With this work around it is possible to trigger on a different way.

Create a .txt file.
Upload .txt file to UMS
Send to device via device menu->File UMS-> Device
Save file to /proc/sysrq-trigger
PROFIT!

This is not recommended for any sort of general usage, as its not a very clean reboot process, but apparently desperate times call for desperate measures.
Hope it works well, please let me know if you have some questions or comments!
