How to Edit the IGEL OS IP Address Remotely

Recently an IGEL Community member asked, "Is there any way to edit the device IP? We have some devices temporarily going to a different network, and we would like to update the IP in UMS manually."

There are a few ways to address this, as detailed in the Slack thread. Though, one of our IGEL Community members and IGEL INSIDERS, Falk Heiland, wrote a script to programmatically set the current IP address of a device to the last IP in the UMS, as this feature in the UMS itself was recently removed.
